International bus Khon Kaen – Vientiane Route: Service Frequency: 2 trips per day Fare: 150 Baht from Khon Kaen to Vientiane, and 50,000 Kip from Vientiane Travel Time: 4 hours 
Airport You can travel from Don Mueang Airport and Suvarnabhumi Airport to Khon Kaen. The price of the ticket depends on the airline and the time of booking. The Bangkok-Khon Kaen route is available every day, and the approximate travel time is 1 hour.

Tuk-tuks: Tuk-tuks are three-wheeled motorized vehicles Starting at 30 Baht, although this may vary depending on the distance traveled. 
Trishaw (three-wheeled bicycle taxi): Starting at 20 Baht, trishaws primarily operate within the city and municipal areas. 
Songthaew (two-row pickup truck taxi): Fares are 9 Baht, and there are multiple routes available for songthaews that cover various areas such as the city center, outskirts of the city, university, and within the university campus. Here are some of the routes: Route 8: City Center – Torung Market – Bueng Kaen Nakhon – Wat Nong Route 13: Circular route around Bueng Kaen Nakhon – City Center Route 21: National Museum Route 10: Prachasamosorn Road – Vietnamese Consulate Route 4: Outskirts of the city – Immigration Office – Lao Consulate  
City bus  Air-conditioned buses with Free WIFI, equipped with CCTV cameras that can be monitored through an application. The fare for adults is 15 Baht, and for children, it is 10 Baht. The bus service operates 24 hours a day and has routes indicated by the colors red, blue, and green.
