Description

Typically, newborn boys have a foreskin that is still closed, with a small opening allowing for urination. As the body grows, this opening expands until the foreskin can eventually be retracted fully beyond the glans of the penis.

However, in some cases where the foreskin is excessively tight, urination may become difficult, leading to swelling of the foreskin during urination, pain, and potentially resulting in urinary tract infections. Patients experiencing these symptoms should consider circumcision.

For adults, insufficient retraction of the foreskin can cause tightness at the tip, resulting in pain in the glans during an erection. This group also requires circumcision. This package involves the surgical removal of the skin covering the glans of the penis.

This package is suitable for :

• Pediatric patients with a tight foreskin and difficulty urinating.
• Patients transitioning from childhood to adolescence who have not achieved foreskin retraction.
• Adult patients with a tight foreskin causing pain and swelling during erections.

Preparation for the procedure includes :

• Consulting a physician for a physical examination and scheduling a circumcision date.
• If undergoing circumcision under general anesthesia, fasting for 6–8 hours prior is required.

Price :

Outpatient (local anesthesia): 12,000 THB
Inpatient (local anesthesia): 15,000 THB

Validity :

From April 1 – December 31, 2024.
