Information on Current International Infectious Disease Situation
This information is put together for you by the Infection Control Department Ratchaphruek Hospital in accordance with the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Ministry of Public Health in Thailand.
In response to the Ministry of Public Health’s statement on the new strain of coronavirus from Wuhan, China, Ratchaphruek Hospital has immediately implemented stringent measures to screen at-risk patients entering the hospital for treatment.
These measures are regularly reviewed and updated as the situation and virus dispersion develop.
We strictly follow the Ministry of Public Health’s protocols on disease prevention and work closely with Thailand DDC and other public health organizations to ensure the safety of patients, staff and the wider community.
Ratchaphruek Hospital continuously reviews and updates our own surveillance standards and control measures. We draw on the expertise and experience of our personnel in managing and containing the spread of infectious diseases and will ensure that Ratchaphruek Hospital implements the most stringent safety measures.
As always, our goal is to implement the most rigorous safety measures possible.
