Ratchaphruek Hospital Khonkaen “The Healing Environmental Hospital” where the traditional homelike design was incorporated into a modern style hospital building and came up with a “Homepital” facilities so called “Healing Environment “ . The green trees and gardens surrounding help maintain the sound mind while patient is under cared by expertise well-trained from major institutions equipped with up-to-date technology medical facilities while the humanized person-centered care concepts is the main guiding principle.
Established since 1994 ,
Ratchaphruek hospital keep growing continuously from the old location in the city center , patients demand had grown far ahead of the old serving capacity , this why Ratchaphruek Hospital new building project was initiated in 2016. The new building design was holistically drafted on the concept of healing environment to promote well-being of body and mind at the same time, modern facilities were artfully incorporated into home style hospital that reflect the wisdom from Buddha teaching “body can be sick but spared your mind” or ‘Sick body, Healthy mind’.
Ratchaphruek hospital see patient 200,000 per year and about 20,000 patients were hospitalized into the total capacity 200 beds building.
Ratchaphruek Hospital was accredited by JCI International standard since August 2019 one year after new building was operated. Then in September 2020 we joined membership with Planetree International Organization, this step had marked an important mile stone to Ratchaphruek Hospital progress. Besides we also guaranteed by international standard GHA for Covid -19 on October 2020 for the patient flow process management during the pandemic .
For the pride of Ratchaphruek Hospital Building , we also won the Silver Award for Architectural Design in 2020 from The Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage.
Top management of Ratchaphruek Hospital said that our Vision was declared before new building starting operation in 2018 and after review and confirm it was declared that “ We are determined to be the leading private hospital that provide international high quality standard and humanized care”.
Therefore this lead to our Mission statement that said “We committed to improvement, and provide healthcare with international standard for quality and safety, with empathy, accessible ,a leader in healing environment, focus on excellent patient experiences”.
We were reaccredited by JCI on August 2022 , this achievement had reconfirmed our vision and mission once again.
Next step of Ratchaphruek Hospital is to be certified by Planetree International as the “Person-centred Care Hospital”. The population that we are expanding our services to serve not only living in Khonkaen but all Northeastern provinces and also other regions in Thailand ,be accessible by Thai and Foreigners equally including people in neighboring countries like Laos , Cambodia .

Our History
1993 | Founded Ratchaphruek Hospital under the name of Sithankarnpat Co., Ltd. |
1994 | Operated as a 50-bed-capacity hospital on 1 March 1994 |
2006 | Received HA Accreditation from the Healthcare Accreditation Institute (Public Organization) |
2010 | Expanded the business to serve the increasing medical demand by acquiring land which is now the current location of the hospital |
2016 | Registered as a public company and changed its name to Ratchaphruek Hospital PLC as well as constructed a new hospital complex with a capacity of 202 beds worth 1,400 THB. |
2017 | Entered in the Stock Exchange of Thailand on 27 February 2017 |
2018 | The construction of the new of complex was complete and opened for services on 8 August 2018 with 35 examination rooms and 117 inpatient beds. |
2019 | Increased the number of inpatient beds to 171 and received the Joint Commission International (JCI) on 24 August 2019 |
2020 | Increased the number of inpatient beds to 198. |
