(Only for patient with companions. Prepared by&nbsp;<strong>Ratchaphruek Hospital<\/strong>&nbsp;in attachment, signed by the patient and\/or companions.)<\/li>\n\n<li>Letter of intention and consent for quarantine. (Prepared by&nbsp;<strong>Ratchaphruek Hospital<\/strong>&nbsp;in attachment, signed by the patient and\/or companions.)<\/li>\n\n<li>Flight ticket. Once approved, a copy of the Confirmation Letter will be sent to the patient to be submitted to the Royal Thai Embassy in the current country, then the patient will receive the Certificate of Entry (COE) from the Embassy.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"2--protocol-for-quarantine-in-ratchaphruek-hospital-\"><strong>PROTOCOL FOR QUARANTINE IN RATCHAPHRUEK HOSPITAL:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A patient and companion(s) will be subject to a quarantine in Ratchaphruek Hospital for the duration of 14+1 days from the day of arrival into the Kingdom of Thailand. (The first day of arrival is referred to as day 0 and quarantine is completed on day 15)<\/li>\n\n<li>Only one companion can stay with the patient in the negative-pressure room, the 2nd and 3rd companion(s) will be in a (separated) single room during the quarantine period.<\/li>\n\n<li>A patient will only be allowed to leave the room for medical investigations and procedures required, while companion(s) will remain in the room throughout the quarantine period, except for visiting the patient at certain times of the day.<\/li>\n\n<li>Fever and respiratory tract symptoms will be monitored on a daily basis.<\/li>\n\n<li>Nasopharyngeal and oral swabs for real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction (rt-PCR) test for COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) will be performed 3 times: on day 0, 5 and 14.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>If the test result&nbsp; for COVID-19 (<u>positive<\/u>) is detected, the infected person will be admitted to Khon Kaen Hospital at all costs. (Under insurance coverage there may be conditions)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n<li>The approvals from the Embassy of the patient\u2019s nationality as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are needed before returning home (the process takes 2\u20133 days).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p>Foreign nationals, who are permitted to enter the Kingdom of Thailand as patients seeking for medical care, can only be quarantined in the hospital upon arrival.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>For patients and their companions, who are currently in individuals\u2019 countries, are allowed to submit for consideration to enter the Kingdom of Thailand for Alternative Hospital Quarantine (AHQ)<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex
